Apple’s new iPhone 8 and Iphone 8 Plus is coming to India on September 29, and the phone is now available pre order in India. The 64GB and 256GB variants of the iPhone 8 are priced at Rs 64,000 and Rs 77,000 respectively. The iPhone 8 Plus 64GB variant is priced at Rs 73,000, while the 256GB version of the phone will be available at Rs 86,000. Flipkart is one of Apple’s Authorised Resellers in the country, and as one can expect, it is offering a few deals for those who choose to pre order it. These include no cost EMIs, exchange offers, as well as cashback offers on select bank cards.
No cost EMI for the 64GB and 256GB versions of the iPhone 8 starts at Rs 5,334 and Rs 6,417 per month respectively. The same for the larger iPhone 8 Plus starts at Rs 6,084 and Rs 7,167 per month for the 64GB and 256GB storage variants. Buyers can also avail up to Rs 23,000 off on exchanging their old smartphones. However, when exchanging an old iPhone, consumers will get an extra Rs 3,000 over regular exchange.
Those making their purchase with an SBI debit or card will get an extra 10 percent off, while Axis Bank Buzz credit card users will get an extra 5 percent off. Similarly, those with a Citi Credit or World Debit Card can get Rs 10,000 as cashback, while those making payments through PhonePe will get 10 percent cashback. As an added bonus, those who pre-orer the devices before September 26, will get their deliveries by September 30. However, this is only valid for deliveries in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, or Ahmedabad.
To recall, the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus sport rear glass panels and support wireless charging. The standard iPhone 8 sports a 4.7-inch Retina HD display, while the iPhone 6 Plus sports a larger 5.5-inch Retina HD display. Both support the company’s TrueTone software technology and are powered by the A11 Bionic Hexa core SoC. While the iPhone 8 sports a single 12MP rear camera, the iPhone 8 Plus sports a dual-rear camera setup with two 12MP units.
